Sue-Meg State Park covers Patrick's point and quite a bit more. Big Lagoon county park and more state land are a moderate hike north. You might find an Uber or a private rental. Commercial rentals are over 10 miles south....

As already stated there is lots of beautiful hiking across the road at the State Park. As far as car rentals, Enterprise car rentals will sometimes come to you from Eureka, but youd have to call them. Otherwise Arcata has car rentals that you could Uber to....
