About 5 miles south on route 59 finding places to park near the beach is sometimes difficult. Large high rise condos line the beach....

Ranger is right about the miles about 5 to the public beach. You could also turn left on the beach road and go towards Orange beach about another 5 miles and they have more places to park and walk on the beach....
