Lake Catherine State Park

I have camped frequently at both parks and live near Hot Springs. I pull a 37 ft. 5th wheel. I would go from Catherine to Hot Springs and take the 270/70 east loop around Hot Springs and continue straight onto the new highway 5 north expressway extension that just opened last year. That will take you to the intersection of highway 5 and 7 where I would stay on 5 toward Benton until turning left onto highway 9 at Crows. That goes all the way to Oppelo where I take a left onto 154 and continue up the mountain to the park. A good alternative to avoid the very steep (but short) climb on 154 from the east is to turn onto highway 10 at Perry and then take 324 to 155 to get to 154 and come in from the west side near the lodge. This is less stressful if you are bothered by a 17% grade and hairpin turn coming from the east....

We pull a 34 ft 5er with a longbed crew cab so we are over 40 ft we did the same route as Minidilbert and it's no issue....

Is 324 from 10 to 155 paved the whole route? I ask because RV LIFE is telling me it is unpaved. I'm trying to custom route it now. Thanks...
