Sat Mar 23 2024Where can you stop and fill up with water? In an RV, don't want to travel with a full tank obviously....

You would have to fill up in Vegas I believe. There are electric hkps. But no water. You might check in Overton but that's further NE of V of F. We always come loaded when we camp....

Probably in Vegas. There are electric hkps but no water. There is an rv park in Overton just northeast of V of F. We always come full when we dry camp. Hard to tell when you'll get water....

I have always come to this park with full water empty tanks I have read where they have water but sometimes depending on time of year water can be turned off coming from the Mesquite side, You can get water at the Casablanca coming from the Vegas side there several campgrounds That are available for water fill up overton is another option and also I believe the Sinclair station off of the main freeway might have water you could call on that one...

This is one of those places that should be on a "bucket list" and as such I recommend camping nearby (a vague and relative term) so you can empty tanks and fill with fresh water before arriving here. St George, UT is about 92 miles away and Mesquite, NV is about 55 miles away and both have camping options. Likewise plan to camp "nearby" after staying here so you can take a real shower, empty black and gray tanks and adjust your fresh water level....
