Dead Horse Ranch State Park
Question:
Sat Apr 20 2019We are traveling in a motorhome coming from Show Low that has excellent water quality...should we fill our tank or is the water at Dead Horse Ranch SP good?...

All RV sites have water, we use bottle water to drink and cook with. Shower with CG water....

The water is okay, nothing special but no bad taste. The pressure was good. Guess it depends on how sensitive you are to the taste of water. Most water in Arizona is okay. Hope this helps. I can guarantee you will enjoy Dead Horse Ranch SP, so much to do....

We don't remember what the water quality is at Dead Horse Ranch; but we would recommend filling your tank just in case. There are a lot of areas within Arizona where the water is okay to drink, but just doesn't taste good. Hope that helps....

Yes the water is excellent....we stayed there 4 months as we were camp hosts....

I do not know about the water quality at this park or any park. The reason is that I only drink bottled water. I do use park water for all other needs including brushing my teeth. The water there seemed ok to me. Enjoy your visit as this is a nice SP & so is the town of Cottonwood....

Thanks to all who responded. The water here is excellent. Dead Horse ranch is a great campground. So happy i couldn't get into my usual park in Sedona and came here....
