It's not actually on the beach and you can't see the beach from the rv campground. There is a path to the beach across the road from BayPalms. Chairs are provided to enjoy the sound of the waves but no actual beach area where you can set up for the day and you can't see the water's edge from the chairs. You have to drive 10-15 minutes over the bridge to Dauphin Island which has 4 beach accesses. I recommend the West beach because there are two sides (gulf side and bay side)....
