Ward Mountain Campground
Question:
Tue Jul 16 2024Can someone tell us if the road to get to the campground up the mountain is really steep?? Grade #?? We have a gasser truck and heavy trailer and try to avoid grades over 6-7% if possible....

Can't remember the % of grade, but I don't remember it being really steep. It's used by big trucks, if that helps. Even the short road into the campground isn't steep, but it is gravel. HTH...

Don’t know what roads you’re traveling to get to this campground but if 6-7% grade is your travel limitation, you should be using RV Life app elevation, gradient and drop feature for every trip....
