Tips from campers about Douglas, AZ
- Dave Nash We had our ebikes so we explored all over Sandpoint going as far west as Dover and grabbed cocktails as the sun was setting at the Dish at Dover Bay. We also rode south of Sandpoint across the Lone Bridge, highway 95, to the town of Sagle, and we rode north to the town of Ponderay via the bike path which was enjoyable. We had great drinks and food at the Hydra Steakhouse (dog friendly). We also were in town for the Sandpoint Music Festival which was at Lakeside Park. They allowed you to bring chairs, alcohol and food into the venue which we've never heard of which was awesome if you're on a tight budget. The park is small so seeing live music there had no bad "seats". We also did a drive west to Priest River and had lunch at the Settlement which had good microbrews.6 months ago Bonner County Fairgrounds Campground
- Macnhack This is a train town. If you dont like train noise dont spend the night in Sandpoint. The tracks crisscross all over town.6 months ago Bonner County Fairgrounds Campground
- ThePewterPalace Be sure to visit the Sandpoint Farmer Market in season. Not a good campground for big rigs, MHs due to too many low trees and trees close to road edge.7 months ago Springy Point
