Tips from campers about Pearce, AZ

  • J & S Rosenlund If coming from the west on I-10, don't listen Google. Dragoon Rd is rougher and more winding that AZ 191.
  • LP-on the go Under His Wings 333 is just across the road from the RV park and has excellent pizza. They also offer ice cream and coffee drinks, but we were in the mood for pizza. Don't miss the scenic drives and hikes at both Cochise Stronghold and Chiricahua National Monument. We only hiked a few miles at each place, but even if you can't hike, the scenery along the roads is fabulous.
  • Jeffrey Mullen If you have a high clearance vehicle (several shallow stream crossings), highly recommend the 30 minute trip up into Cochise's Stronghold, and take the short hikes starting from the campground.
