- John_Beem_819 The park is directly adjacent to Hill Air Force Base. There are numerous military families living and or visiting there. The base is home to a squadron of the Airforces newest fighter, the F35. The noise during take off as well as approach is quite loud. However, if you enjoy watching an air show, you are going to enjoy this place. We stayed 2 nights and we watched two sorties, one on Thursday night and another mid morning on Friday. Both were less than an hour. Just a short walk down the road and you can stand right under the flight path with the F35s just a few hundred feet overhead.
