Tips from campers about Fruit Heights, UT

  • Stan M Close to Grand Haven State Park. It is an easy walk to Burzurk brewery. They have dog friendly outside seating and good beer. Highly recommend. Dinner at an old fashioned, family owned Italian restaurant. Fricano's Pizza Tavern. Like going back in time. Not fancy at all but really good. Definitely worth it. Tons of bike trails. We rode from the RV park to Holland State park. About a 40 mile round trip. Take Washington street towards the water to 5th. Left on 5th and that eventually turns into Lakeshore Drive where there is a bike path all the way to Holland State park. The path is a bit bumpy as you leave Grand Haven but it does smooth out. Stop and have lunch or just a drink at Sandy Point Beach House. It's right on the way.
  • Charky Go to the shore and walk/ride along the lake front; see the lighthouse; and, they have a cute miniature museum.
  • BobtheBounder Downtown light house and sunsets.
