Tips from campers about Bayfield, WI

    • Tucker12 We did the ranger led trip to Exit glacier and it was definitely worth it. Ate in town - it was okay but very expensive. We did have a lot of rain while we were here. I would definitely not come here in a large motorhome - there is a KOA on the way into Seward that we drove through and it looked much better. It is also close to the glacier.
    • Jimndebrving Book a fishing charter or kayak adventure while there. Electric only hookups and not many of those.
    • Camping the USA Mom Great prices on kayaking. Short trips, long trips, overnight trips, all age groups. Fantastic fishing charters for halibut or salmon and best prices around. Camping cabins are rustic but best prices in Alaska. They also rent nearby cabins for other property owners of all types (luxury cabins on the oceanfront). Water taxi is awesome. Go camping in a remote area or go to Caine's Head State Park for amazing hikes. Do the hike using the water taxi there and back.
