Tip for Other Campers:
Try to get a site on the northern point to minimize road noise. Bathhouse there is old style with toilet stalls and shower stalls but it has a laundry facility. We took the ferry to Gee's Bend and highly recommend the welcome/information center there. Be sure to read all of the very well done signs depicting the history of the area and the famous quilts,...

Had a wonderful time. Will take my boat next time. Need to take something for ants. They will get into your camper. But we will be back. We camped at Miller's Ferry Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We just spent the night on the way to our Alabama beachs. We will definitely be back, lovely place. We camped at Miller's Ferry Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
