“Off the beaten path but a great place to stay!”

We stayed in campsite # 23 this was a very nice campsite next to the stream with plenty of room for our 37 ft motorhome and 20 ft tow vehicle. Restrooms/showers were clean and heated. Trails were all...

Set up in the pouring rain and dark at site 23. Didn't leave enough room for the slide out. Reset trailer again and tried plugging in. Power did not work properly. Phoned hostess to find out power was...

- Nat & Lori The little country store next to the park is really cool and the owners are nice. The wife usually has fresh baked goodies for sale there and they feature a lot of local products. The BBQ restaurant across the street is also an interesting experience. The prices are good, the portions are generous and the food is pretty good.4 years ago Blue Springs State Park

The area is beautiful and the spring is lovely (but super cold). When we arrived at our reserved campsite, due to the unevenness of the site, our stabilizers wouldn't reach the ground and we didn't...

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Blue Spring Mercantile right next to the park and Haglar's BBQ across from the park. Where the river and spring meet is a fun/shallow area for kids. The river feels so warm compared to the spring water and it's fun to bounce back and forth between the temperatures.
