When the campground was empty, due to severe weather, it felt spacious and the WiFi was awesome. When it filled up, it was still a good campground, with spotty WiFi. Most sites had very little grass....

“It was early March, park was nearly empty”

Park was very nice, tons of hiking trails.. We did not use bathrooms but we used the laundry facility. We camped at Desoto State Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Campground recently updated and in great condition. Full hookups. We stayed in site 4. Perfectly level site We camped at Desoto State Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hiked 7 trails in DeSoto and Little River canyon area. They are all great

Tip for Other Campers:
The park had a tree based foot bridge. The staff didn't open the store on Tuesday and Wednesday the week we stayed. Walking paths and looks of deer spotted around the park.

I’ve been advised this park is at the top of Lookout Mountain. Is it possible/wise to attempt to get a 40’ Rv Mobilehome with 4 slides up there? Thank you....

This is a great State Park with full hookups for a responsible price. We are only 3 campers here with 80 spots. Lots of areas to walk bike and hike. We are in site 48 a pull through and its not level...

Tip for Other Campers:
We had lunch at Wildflower Cafe which was wonderful. ( posted my review on yelp ) DeSoto falls is just down the road. Plenty of hiking and biking trails
