Beautiful area; Talladega National Forest has lots of hiking trails, Cheaha Park is close (don't miss the Cheaha Falls hike - it's short, easy to find, and a gem).

Tip for Other Campers:
The nearest Walmart super center is about 15 miles away in Oxford, AL. However there is shopping, fuel, restaurants, etc in nearby Heflin. Several wineries are also in or near Heflin. One which sells Muskeeto P wine. Very tasty.
