First come first serve location no reservations! We got here and it completely empty wow what a nice spot! And its haunted We camped at Moundville Archaeological Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Moundville Archaeological Park
- KcSoFL One issue with RV Life routing, it wanted to take us down a dead end road (Holcomb road) and come back out. Stay on Fodder to the campground if that's the way you are coming. Take it slow, lots of curves. 38' with toad.1 year ago Hiawassee KOA Holiday
- AirRaceFan Call the campground on your way in... Google, RV Trip Wizard and others all run through some REALLY curvy roads with some really hard turns. - LyndaandPaul We camp with 2 German Shepherds so we do a lot of hiking. We hiked Brasstown Bald Mountain. Awesome views; Chatuge Lake, Anna Ruby Falls, Jack Rabbit Trail and Tallulah Falls-which is not to miss. A bit crowded, but breathtaking! Tip for Other Campers:
Biking around the park is easy and there are some walking trails as well. We did walk through the museum and the gift shop had some coffee and snacks.

Tip for Other Campers:
There are a few nice restaurants very close by in Moundville. When we stayed, we ate at big Mikes steakhouse. It was one of the top five steaks Ive ever eaten! There is also a Mexican restaurant not too far away. As I said, you have access into the park with the code given by the park attendant, so you do not have to worry about not being able to get back...
