Spend some money in the grocery store. Prices are reasonable lower than glennAllen and definitely try the grubstake restaurant in town best burgers in Alaska....

- Jim22 Visit the Chitnia ranger station. It is in a 100 year old building, nicely restored with a friendly interior. Info on RV parks, lodging, etc. is available, and the ranger is very familiar with things to see, local history, and road condition.
