Tips from campers about Seward, AK
- Sandy Sturgis Do the Turning Heads dog sled and glacier tour. The fjords tour was also wonderful!7 months ago Seward KOA Journey
- bmerch Lots to do besides soaking in the beautiful views from the CG. Highly suggest a day cruise - several options. We really liked Major Marine - really tried to ensure we saw as much as possible. Nice walking trail from CG to the marina and into town. Enjoyed the SeaLife center (aquarium and rehab/research). Its $35 timed entry and goes to a great cause. If cruise ship in town, but tickets online ahead of time. Great downtown area - really good Gelato. Nice art shops (yes, I bought a pairing). Dont miss an Exit Glacier hike from an east loop to the harder 8 mile Harding Ice field Hike. No dog friendly though. Tosina Creek hike is also great and allows our fur babies. Fun food trucks & restaurant options. Dont miss the beautiful murals around town.7 months ago Resurrection Campground & RV Park
