“Ideal campsite for us”

I signed up through the Princess Lodge to go on a guided rafting trip down the Kenai River. Glad I did the extended trip down the Kenai River Canyon to the wild and scenic Skilak Lake in the wilderness of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.

Tips from campers about Kenai Princess RV Park
- Hands For Him Eat at the Kingfisher Roadhouse on the Sterling Hwy (east of the RV Park several miles). It doesn't look like much from the road but is quite interesting and VERY Alaskan. Fish on the far side of the Kenai by taking the Ferry across and walking to the right a bit. They accept the America The Beautiful National Park pass so parking & the ferry are 1/2 price.8 years ago Kenai Princess RV Park
- chillyvt If you can get a site to stay there, we recommend a 2 hour float trip with Alaska River Adventures. The locals who run it were extremely friendly and even though there was only two of us, they took us anyway...and they do go rain or shine but provide adequate weather gear. Our guide was awesome and we really enjoyed our time. The launch is just across the bridge from the turn to the campground.8 years ago Kenai Princess RV Park

This is a parking lot! What a shame, to clear all the beautiful trees and put the sites all clase together is just not right!!! We camped at Kenai Princess RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great staff; restaurant /bar is a reasonable value. RV area is clean; the RVspacing is reasonable. We camped at Kenai Princess RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
