We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and the park at most was 3/4 full. Nice wooded state park with level gravel pads. Good distance between the sites with foliage providing privacy. Nicely...

Tip for Other Campers:
Trail head for granite tors trail is within walking distance. This is a challenging 15-mile loop and provides panoramic views of the Alaskan range and interesting tors features. Also nearby are the Angel Rocks 4-mile hike, 10-mile chena hotsprings hike, and the Chena dome hike. Chena hot springs is about 20 miles away where you can go swimming, horseback...
There are no bad sites in this campground. All are large with room for both a camper and a tent plus a picnic table and fire ring. They are also private. There are some double sites for folks...
