- Melanie D *Orr has a small grocery/laundromat/gas combo. Prices at grocery seemed very high but it had all the basics, laundry was priced like most weve used. *Got excellent cinnamon and caramel rolls from bakery/restaurant (T. Patton) right near the grocery store. Restaurant serves B-L-D (Cash only) *Vermilion Gorge Trail was a 3 miles round trip hike with some up/downs but medium difficulty, is just past the NP visitors bldg, and the view from the cascades/gorge was outstanding! Well-shaded, plenty of steps on the steep sections. Online directions will get you there but you wont believe that you are in the right spot! When we were there (again, at seasons end), most of the tour boats were up on blocks, filling the gorge trail parking lot and completely blocking the trail sign!7 months ago Headquarters RV Park

We were backed up against the shops. Sites aren't very level, lots of noise, and people walking through your site to get to shops. Shops employes walk through your site dragging trash to dumpster....
