Tip for Other Campers:
The spit is less than a 10 min drive to take boat tours to Seldovia (fun) and/or pick up a water taxi and hike in Kachemak State Park. We did the hike to the glacier, then over Saddle trail to the beach for pick up. We left the marina at 10 and they picked us up at 2. Perfect timing. Safeway close by the CG. Tips from campers about Ocean Shores RV Park
- bmerch The spit is less than a 10 min drive to take boat tours to Seldovia (fun) and/or pick up a water taxi and hike in Kachemak State Park. We did the hike to the glacier, then over Saddle trail to the beach for pick up. We left the marina at 10 and they picked us up at 2. Perfect timing. Safeway close by the CG. Went to Alibis (a locals pub/restaurant) for a delicious Halibut taco dinner. Do not miss the parm fries. Great ice cream shop on Main St too. Drive up to the Alpine Meadow trail for great views.
