Tip for Other Campers:
Shore fishing for rainbow trout is easily done at Stormy Lake. Saw some portable kayaks and wished we had one or two. Better fish in deeper water and the lake looked like it would be easy and scenic to kayak. Good access to Nikiski, Kenai and Soldotna for drives and exploring. Agates found on beach near campsite and on beach at Nikiski.

The rocky beach is a short walk away. There are several trails in the CG to the top of the bluff. There's also an interpretive trail in the CG.
