Tip for Other Campers:
Unless executive orders change, don't carry your fishing gear to Russian River Falls. Gate guy didn't say anything and nothing posted until AT the falls 2.5 miles too late. Better to fish off last parking lot. Will see fish being caught but it is fast water and very competitive fishing. The river near Hope, Ak a bit easier and the locals much more friendly...
Tips from campers about Tenderfoot Creek Campground- Chugach National Forest
- Teddy V Unless executive orders change, don't carry your fishing gear to Russian River Falls. Gate guy didn't say anything and nothing posted until AT the falls 2.5 miles too late. Better to fish off last parking lot. will see fish being caught but it is fast water and very competitive fishing. The river near Hope, Ak a bit easier and the locals much more friendly and helpful. Caught several pink salmon after being shown how to do it. Recommend Pink and white or pink and chartreuse streamers. (Pinks like pink) Can get them at Sourdough Dru's Gifts in Hope along w sinkers if you need them.
- Ruprechts Reserve your spot for summer weekends. Some need leveling.

Vault toilets were kept clean. Park has plenty of trees to keep you separated from any neighbors. We camped at Tenderfoot Creek Campground- Chugach National Forest in a Fifth Wheel.
