Large sites, beautiful views, lots of wildlife. No hookups, but lots of space to explore. Several bald eagles on the beach. We camped at Deep Creek State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

- Living the Dream There is no shopping, no restaurants in the area. We were here to watch the Eagles and we were not disappointed. We took our truck for a ride on the beach at low tide and it was amazing. We stayed at Deep Creek beach campground. We were able to get a site on the water with an excellent view of Mt. Redoubt and Mt. Illiama (on a clear day). All sites have a fire ring and picnic table....
