Tip for Other Campers:
The road has a deep washed out rut a few miles past this campground. We didnt want to chance ripping up our Motorhome going any further.
We stayed for one night on our trek along Nabesna Road. The campground is fairly new, I believe it was totally redone in 2012, however it appears to have suffered from frost heaves and both the road...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you have four wheel drive, take the trip to the end of Nabesna Road. We didn't see much wildlife (one moose), but the scenery is incredible.

Tip for Other Campers:
Grab a free audio CD at the Slana Ranger Station. Nice narration while you drive on Nabesna Road. Return it on the way out.
Several trailheads to hiking trails of different lengths and difficulty on the way.
