“Affordable alternative to crowded river parks”

Park is a gravel lot behind Best Western hotel. Tons of pot holes in driveway, just like most parks in Alaska. Weeds growing in rocks. High prices but hardly anyone in park. Great stop for most things...

Salmon fishing in Kenai river. Dept of fish and game lends a pole for free for up to 3 days. Craft market in park every Wednesday with music at night.

- mrracechaser Kenai National Wildlife Refuge and Soldatna Historical Society & Museum. There is a Fred Meyers and Petco as well as most other stores here. There is a large thrift store with good prices call Bishop's Attic. Racing at the Twin Cities Raceway in Kenai.
