“Nice and quiet ”

Tips from campers about Talkeetna RV Park & Boat Launch
- rudyhehn This is a good park for bird watching. We saw Royal terns, plovers and others. Lots of successful pompano fishermen. Kayaks and paddle boards available for rent.
- Cegman Really great BBQ at Strikers in Port St. Joe. White Marlin is nice and pricey. Piggly Wiggly has all your needs for groceries, Bluewater Outfitters has almost everything for Outdoors. Ace hardware for other hardware items for RV.
- SubmarinerMMC Shopping is available in Port St Joe.

“Scattered sites in the woods”
Nightly Rate: $25 USD
Best place for the area. Don't try to follow their "map", it makes no sense. We found a great spot for us, but fish weren't running yet, so probably busier later in the year. Walking trail into town....

Tip for Other Campers:
Flight seeing Denali, the museum, lots of shops and restaurants in town. Denali Brewing a few miles away on the road to Talkeetna

Great spot, plenty of trees and privacy. No hook ups, primitive site, but like I said, plenty of privacy. We camped at Talkeetna RV Park & Boat Launch in a Travel Trailer.

Set with our backend up against the road and train tracks. Not a place for light sleepers as the "freight " trains run at night. Did enjoy the trains during the day and even took the Hurricane work...
