“Nice quiet campground ”
Nightly Rate: $79 USD
Clean quite great service. We were put in spot 2 with FHUs a very tight spot with very little to no space to enjoy the outdoors. We camped at Valdez KOA in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Valdez Solomon Gulch Fish Hatchery is a must and downtown Brewerys Growler Bay and Valdez brewing are great after a day fishing or hiking!
Tips from campers about Valdez KOA

Tip for Other Campers:
Small restaurant in Valdese called the potato had great food good beer, if you need a fueling station, there is one approximately a mile down from the KOA as youre going into town. If you have your own vehicle, dont be worried about the distance. Its a very quick trip into Valdez! Friends did a tour on the Lulu Belle and definitely got their moneys worth.

Tip for Other Campers:
Rain is very common in Valdez during the summer, so be sure to take advantage of any fair weather days to get outside (fishing, hiking, glacier tours, etc). For the Rainy days, we found the two museums very enjoyable, and even a day trip to Wrangell-Elias National Park was a great way to get away from a rainy Valdez day.
