We added this campsite when our Jasper National Park reservations were canceled due to the fires. Our campsite was adjacent to the railroad tracks. We did hear train noise, but it wasn't bothersome....

Tip for Other Campers:
We hiked the Ink Pots and boy was the 1,200 ft of elevation gain worth the effort (you'll enjoy the Lower Falls and Upper Falls along the way). Take a picnic lunch to enjoy at the river by the Ink Pots. We enjoyed a Park performance the evening of our stay.

This would be a great forested campground if you could go outdoors without being eaten alive by the vicious mosquitoes. If we had known the mosquitoes were so unbearable, we would not have gone there....
