  jclifton Canada is not far. Colville is a cute area and has larger stores, such as Safeway (with gas and diesel) and a Walmart for stocking up. 49 North ski area is close. Kettle Falls is a darling little town. Waitts Lake. Loon Lake. Just an extremely lovely area. Tip: Gas and diesel can be priced atrociously high in this rural area. Fill up or top off when you see a decent price. We saw as much as $.30/gal. over normal.
