The town of Drayton Valley is about 20 minutes away, with all the necessities (groceries, fuel, etc.).

Tip for Other Campers:
Drayton Valley is close by for anything you may have forgotten. Our dogs were welcome at the campground and loved it. The campground has no hook ups but intend to have some by next year. We didnt need any and the clean outhouse was just fine for us.
Tips from campers about Bear Creek Campground
- SNL Diesel available at the Kicks 66 station right next door. We loved Bandelier National Monument, very interesting place. We also did a great hike at Kasha-Kutuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. We also enjoyed strolling the galleries on Canyon Road and the Plaza in downtown Santa Fe. We took a drive to Los Alamos and went to the Manhattan Project National Historic Park and the Bradbury Science Museum. Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely worth checking out some of Drayton Valley's community events, like the farmer's market. Drayton Valley also has a huge dog park.
