Tip for Other Campers:
When approaching Grande Prairie from the east the road 43 is awful. There are major frost heaves & its like a roller coaster. Thats what caused my refrigerator to break loose & come out of the slide into the interior of the fifth wheel. When you hit the first frost heave dont think its the only one. A local told me to slow down & ride the shoulder....

- USA in a Chevrolet When approaching Grande Prairie from the east the road 43 is awful. There are major frost heaves & its like a roller coaster. Thats what caused my refrigerator to break loose & come out of the slide into the interior of the fifth wheel. When you hit the first frost heave dont think its the only one. A local told me to slow down & ride the shoulder. Supposedly the road will be fixed in the fall. This is a 4 lane road & the only route m2 years ago Country Roads RV Park
- The MacDees Grande Prairie is a busy city with lots of things to do, try the farmers market on Fri/Sat and some of the great restaurants like Maddhatters, The Keg, The Sawmill, Browns Social House to name a few and visit the small towns surrounding the city. “Nice place”

Place was clean, quiet, shady, flat. All of grand prairie is flat. Full hookups. Never met staff, we were with a caravan. We camped at Country Roads RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
