“Sits between I-10 and railroad tracks ”

We needed something while we waited for a different location. This was suitable for that purpose. All gravel but site was large enough and level. Mostly long term sites and some looked pretty rundown....

Tip for Other Campers:
Drive to the rest area just east of Benson on I-10 to see Texas Canyon. Stop at the rest area and marvel at the rock formations. Easy to go a couple of miles farther to turn around to head back to Benson but definitely worth the drive and its free.

Trail can be walked with leashed pets. Three ponds for catch and release fishing. Resident ducks and other birds.
