Visit the Sunset Crater Visitor Center. Hike the base of Sunset Crater. 18 miles down the road is Wapatki National Monument which is worth a visit.

No dump site nearby. I ended up dumping at the Flagstaff KOA $15.

Very clean, spread out, well maintained campground with no hookups. Generators allowed. We camped at Bonito Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Take the scenic drive loop depending on direction traveling to see the Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument and Wupatki Pueblo.
