If you need to fill up or dump your tanks, stop by this area on your way to your camp site. The dump/water station is located at the entrance.

Tip for Other Campers:
We have stayed at this campground several times on the way to the North Rim...the only negative I can say is that for some reason it is skunk heaven...and they are big! After dusk it is best to be aware!
Tips from campers about Pine Grove Campground
- CAMiller Walmart, Fry's, and Safeway in Newport about 20 minute drive. Go at low tide to enjoy the tide pools at Seal Rock and Florence. Go at high tide to enjoy Thor's well and Devil's Churn near Yachats. A must see is the Yaquina Head Outstanding Nature Area north of Newport.4 years ago Waldport / Newport KOA Journey
- 21Judy20 Waldport has lots of cute shops. Walk on to the bridge at low tide to see all the seals and sea lions. Great sunset viewing! Newport is only 15 min away. Great old town and restaurants. We explored the surrounding area including Ashurst Lake, Upper and Lower Lake Mary, various campgrounds and potential boondocking sites.

Tip for Other Campers:
You must cross a bridge to enter the campground and I was concerned about the weight limit. I checked with the Forestry Supervisor prior to arriving and was told it was rated for 80,000 pounds so it will hold any camper out there, Im pretty sure.

Nightly Rate: $25 USD
We were able to fit our 40ft 5th wheel no problem, they have ice and wood to buy no hookups but there is water and a dump station We camped at Pine Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
