“Safe, clean, walk to beach, beautiful, convenient, protected with trees and still has a great view. ”
Nightly Rate: $87 USD
Lots of cabins. Plenty of RV sites, but not many deluxe pull throughs. If you can rent one of those, its worth it. We camped at Waldport / Newport KOA Journey in a Fifth Wheel.

Hilltop for breakfast or lunch. Skosh for amazing sandwiches and burgers to go. Clearwater Restaurant in Newport (sit outside next to the sea lions on a nice day)

Tip for Other Campers:
Walk the bridge over to Waldport and dig for clams, oysters and crab from the pier! Great restaurants both in Newport and surrounding towns. The beaches are awesome and just minutes away!

Tip for Other Campers:
We drove the 101 along the coast for 2 days, using this campground as our base camp. Take in Devils Churn and Thors Well along the coast. There are some awesome short hikes at the wayside rests and parks. We loved Yachats (enjoyed a clandestine glass of wine at sundown in the public Sunset park)
