Walking distance to downtown. Most everything was boarded up but we still managed to do some browsing and get a drink. Walked to Round Mountain Park

Take the drive up to Tonto National Monument and see the cliff dwellings. It's pretty neat to see and learn about these people.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Salado Indian Ruins are worth seeing. The town itself is built on the side of a mountain and interesting to drive around in.
