“Be sure to go to the upper campground!”
Nightly Rate: $45 USD
Garmen directed us to the lower campground. RV Life directions were correct. From the lower campground I called the office. Bill came down and led us to the correct spot. We had to unhook to even...

“Dusty Dirty Parking lot with hookups”
Nightly Rate: $36 USD
When I contacted this park 4 months in advance of our stay... They told me nothing of the difference between the "Upper Park" and the "Lower Park". They simply said they would put us in the lower...

Two parks separated by rat 60. We stayed in the upper one. Lois was very helpful and super nice. Only issue we had was that the site was so uneven that our jacks would not work. We camped at Gila...

Tip for Other Campers:

There are 2 parks associated with this listing, my review is for the newer, upper park. While it is easy to pull into from Highway 60, it has been layed out backwards. They have angled the sites in...

Tip for Other Campers:
Take the drive up to Tonto National Monument and see the cliff dwellings. It's pretty neat to see and learn about these people.

Park is in two sections. We pulled into the one on Ash street, where our name was listed. When we called ahead we weren’t told which section to go to. Apparently the other section is at the county...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Salado Indian Ruins are worth seeing. The town itself is built on the side of a mountain and interesting to drive around in.
