Arrive in the daylight to navigate camping spaces. Excellent place to camp for a couple days and explore the Grand Canyon.

- Rebecca_Elizabeth We visited the Wonder Center & Science Museum, very cool. Caught a 3D movie and Roxy 8 and found all we needed at ALDIs about 25 min from the campground. We also visited the Factory at Franklin and had the BEST tacos at Mojos Tacos. Lovely area!4 months ago Piney River RV Resort

If you can go negative 1 mile an hour getting in do it. Just be patient and pray you have good suspension but it is worth it. We were absolutely alone for 3 days, we could hear the elk at night....

“Good area for boondocking ”

Plenty of dispersed space. Not at all crowded mide- week, not sure about weekends. We camped at Coconino Rim Road Dispersed Camping in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Don't try after rain or snow - likely impassable or too wet to camp here. Would be easy to get stuck and tough to recover.
