Petrified forest was amazing.
Be sure when driving through to stop at the different pullouts. It is definitely worth your time.

- MamaDukesHD82 About 20 mins to town with all essentials but only about 5-8mins to the nearest convenience store & gas station. Good restaurant & bar (Wakeside) just before the park entrance. Empty waste tanks and full water before you arrive. Wide open, no shade desert site. Would be very hot in summer.

Crystal Forest had many RV locations to park overnight. Very quite and remote. We camped at Crystal Forest Gift Shop Campground in a Travel Trailer.
