Tips from campers about Circle S Campground
- wellibe The drive in from Wakefield is 16 miles of the roughest paved road that I've traveled in a while. Mostly 35 mph or less if you want to avoid damaging your rig.6 months ago Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park
- RVL421166 Bring screen tent if you have one. Flies were really bad a couple of the days. Mosquitoes not as bad because it was windy most of the time. Great sunsets over Lake Superior.
- 1998 Ultrasport It's about 20 miles to the closest gas, restaurant and grocery store. Plan accordingly. Say HI to Scott and Paul at the ranger station when you go in. Both GREAT guys to talk to and VERY helpful. Tell them "Steve" said HI! Pick up some Keweenaw Brewing Widow Maker dark beer. Good stuff.

Tip for Other Campers:
Kingman is a beautiful city, this park has one feature deemed positive, close to city center and most shopping, but other than this not a 5 star park at best a 2 star one!

Park was ok. Manager was nice. Came in late - left early, but seemed like an ok place to stay. We camped at Circle S Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
