  AWalburg Paddle the river, drive over the Parker Dam, or check out Buckskin Mountain and Cattail Cove State Parks nearby. The desert bar is a short trip but check online for the hours, they are only open certain days, and bring cash. 16th street laundry was decent and a great price per load.

  MarcM There is really only one thing here that keeps this place from being perfect and that is a lack of cell service in the campground, but more on that later. The WIFI in the campground exists, but is essentially useless unless you are right near the ranger's office. Even then, if there are more than a few people logged in, it is really slow, to the point of almost not being worth bothering. I used to carry my laptop and sit near the office just so I could check my email, but that was about it. No idea why this has not been dealt with in this day and given remote workers being so prevalent. The other thing to note is that the cell coverage is usually enough to get a text out/in but not if you are trying to send any pictures etc. Cell tower for Verizon is in Arizona and the one for ATT is across the river in California. Make for interesting time differences when CA and AZ are in different time zones ;-)
