Hidden back in the woods. Very quiet and level sites. Owners very nice. We camped at Cherokee Lakes RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful location. Small lakes, waterfall, trees. A bit off the beaten path. We are travel nurses and stayed here for 13 weeks. Most people staying here are long term, a lot of travel nurses....

Tip for Other Campers:
The park is a bit of a drive from everything. But everything you need is not more than 15-20mins away. Taqueria La Culpable opens at 9am. Great place to eat dinner after you work a night shift.
Tips from campers about Cherokee Lakes RV Park
- Alworth While many mid-western towns are dying, Winfield is thriving. It is worth driving the residential streets to see the craftsmanship that went into many of the houses. Close to Little Rock so if you need people and places that's where I would go only 15-20 min drive.

The earlier reviews are pretty accurate. The park is way off the beaten path down a narrow road with several low branches. The road past the gates is dusty gravel. Our site was narrow but workable....

Take a walk. There is a trail through the woods down to a small pond with a waterfall.
