Tip for Other Campers:
Newport is 5 min away with grocery stores and Walmart. We ate at the Postmaster Spirits Brewery. Drinks and food was excellent. Staff very friendly and the owner was also great to talk to about the old Post Office building. Highly recommend.

Very nice park with a lot of history. Electric and water at site. Dump station in park. Nice welcome center and old court house to tour. We camped at Jacksonport State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tip for Other Campers:
RV Trip Wizard is incorrect and tried to send us down a dead end road close to the park.

- Chuck24 CLose to Sabago Lake, a few good eateries. We went to Capt. Jacked, dog friendly if you sit outside on pouch. Food good but expensive. Theres a boat ramp within two miles that we brought our dog Cooper to for a swim.7 months ago Loon’s Haven Family Campground
