Kinda tight entrance after going a few miles down a high, narrow levee road, so keep that in mind.

Tips from campers about Rising Star
- smoky40 Convenient to the town of Bemidji where they have everything you need...the Paul Bunyan bike trail is close, you can ride down the highway to get to it or take your car to the many lots where you can park and ride your bike all day if you wish. Bring your bikes and ride the MANY bike trails they have in the area...we rode our bikes over 430 miles while there and if it hadn't rained some days we would have rode more....5 years ago Royal Oaks RV Park

The location is somewhat remote so restaurants and shopping are very limited.
“So peacefull”

It was so peaceful. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. This is our first COE campsite and I go its say it definitely didnt disappoint!!! We camped at Rising Star in a Fifth Wheel.

Site #5, could a bit uneven but we worked at it and made it work. Nice shade and backed right up
To the lake. We loved it! We camped at Rising Star in a Motorhome.
