The park is very close to the National Nuclear Museum which is very interesting. On the other side of Albuquerque there is also the National Petroglyph Park which provided a good hike and viewing of ancient art works. The Cowboy Restaurant/Cafe/Steakhouse is worth the trip. Also the Oklahoma Bombing Museum is very well done but disturbing.
