They have a lot of events during the peak season. Definitely call to check what's going on. Tons to do in the nearby towns.

- Duran The park does not allow dog fences, pens or e-collars, so be prepared to leash/tether your dogs (or cats I imagine). Walmart, groceries, hardware, fast food all about 3 miles away. Tip for Other Campers:
Careful how Google maps routes you. I had to make a trip to Walmart and it took me through neighborhoods to get there then main hwy roads to get back. I would have save a lot of time if it would have routed me on main roads to get there.
