“Great Spot to get away from civilization”
Nightly Rate: $24 USD
Nice park. Several camping areas. Our original spot developed a problem with water and they called ahead of time to tell us they moved us to another site. You are right on the Buffalo River so it's a...

Tip for Other Campers:
A bit of a challenge to get to with a large motorhome. Narrow roads with lots of curves and steep grades but we made it. Rather isolated from a town of any size. The closest (14 miles) with a grocery store is Yellville. There is also a BBQ restaurant and a Sonic. Otherwise, its 24 miles to the nearest town. No Verizon cell service. Did see others on their...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Enjoyed canoeing and hiking close by. We stayed in loop B. The ranger programs are in loop A, but wasnt far. The only thing that wasnt convenient was the dump station. It...

The restaurant inside the park was nice for a change from our usual lunch sandwiches.
Tips from campers about Buffalo Point
- Art Goldsmith Visit all historical sites in Philly, bus available so it is safe to not have to drive in Philly. They have a lot of traffic cams I was warned by the park people, they like to mail tickets in the mail. I was able to arrive here avoiding toll roads, which was a big plus.6 years ago Campus Park & Ride
- AnnP Take the bus into the center and have fun. We went to a Philadelphia Orchestra concert. Definitely a highlight.6 years ago Campus Park & Ride
- ETCTA Campus Park & Ride is located within a major city! 1-Plan your arrival and departures around commuter traffic. 2-None of the gas stations in the area were RV friendly..make sure you fill up your tanks prior to getting on I-76. 3-Bike, Walk, Take a Shuttle or Public Transportation to get into the "touristy" part of Philadelphia. Attempting to drive your tow vehicle into Center City would cost $30-$40 to park and zap all of your patience.7 years ago Campus Park & Ride

“Good river access but park is looking a bit tired”
Nightly Rate: $0 USD
We stayed 3 nights (midweek) on loop B. Nice river access. Lots of folks floating/kayaking on the Buffalo river. The ghost town of Rush is nearby and worth an hour to get some local history. We...

Tip for Other Campers:
Loops B, C and D have some sites for larger rigs. No cell service for AT&T. There's a Walmart fairly close in the town of Flippin.
“Shaded Sites, A lot to Do”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
The campground was near perfect, spacious, well kept and nice pads. We probably would have rated this higher if the number of ticks we removed from people and dogs wasnt numbered around 40. It was...
