“Great Ocean views”
Nightly Rate: $75 CAD
Extremely clean and well kept facilities. Only downside is the dirt road to get there (5kms) We camped at Brown's Bay Resort - Ripple Rock RV Park in a Motorhome.

“Beautiful Setting But Dirt Road Access A Bummer”

“Spectacular ocean views ”

We have experienced rv parks up and down the Cdn and US coast. Browns Bay has the potential to be one of the finest. Some very important aspects are currently missing. First wifi is spotty at best....

The Narrows floating restaurant at the Browns Bay fuel dock is withing walking distance from the rv park and serves good food and drink. There is a hot tub facing the ocean in front of a beautifully furnished clubhouse.

Tip for Other Campers:
Be prepared to drive very slow over the 4 km of rough gravel road from the highway.....it is worth it. Hookups for water and electric are on the left when facing the site so a 50ft water hose is recommended. Sewer is front right, so some will need a long hose there as well. It is a 25 minute drive into Campbell River, so stock your kitchen well.

Question:
Are the services set up on the driver's side for those rigs that back into it? At least one reviewer mentioned one or more sites are set up for motor homes that drive straight in will have their services on the driver's side (which would be the passenger side for back-in rigs)....
